Laterlite finalizes the acquisition of Ruregold, with the aim of expanding its presence in the structural strengthening sector.

Laterlite announces that it has signed an agreement for the acquisition of 100% of Ruregold, a business unit specializing in strengthening solutions for concrete and masonry structures.

The operation is part of Laterite’s on-going development and expansion path, and follows on from the 2016 partnership with Gras Calce, which saw the Company integrate complementary business areas in the building materials sector.
Ruregold will remain an independent company, in deference to its extensive know-how in the field of high-tech solutions, with particular focus on high-performance composite materials FRCM (Fibre Reinforced Cementitious Matrix), where it was the first Italian company to obtain international ICC-ES certifications.
In the wake of the acquisition of Ruregold, Laterlite will be implementing a series of management and market synergies, both in Italy and abroad, designed principally to further strengthen the brands. In particular: new products for the structural strengthening sector will be included in the Laterlite-CentroStorico catalogue, thus expanding its offer, while the Ruregold offer will benefit from Laterlite's well-established and extensive distribution structure.
This will result in a consolidation of the skills of each Company and in increasingly design and distribution driven technical specialization, with the aim of responding to the growing needs of the building renovation and infrastructure maintenance market, and the large scale works sector.
Both companies have expressed their satisfaction with the agreement reached and are committed to supporting the integration phases of activities and resources to the best of their abilities, while respecting the identity of Ruregold, which has always been recognized as an example of excellence in the Research and Development of products with high technical and innovative value.
The Laterlite Group, together with Leca, LecaSistemi, the associated Gras Calce company and, as of today, Ruregold, underlines its intention to expand and strengthen its offer of technical solutions at the service of the construction industry, confirming its vocation as a 360-degree partner for sustainable construction and renovation projects.
